Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ClarityTrade mobile application and related services (the "App"), provided by Ethos Algorithmics LLC ("Ethos," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2. What ClarityTrade does

ClarityTrade lets you submit a trade idea and receive an AI-generated "second opinion" — an educational analysis of the information you provide together with publicly available market data. ClarityTrade does not execute trades, does not connect to your brokerage, and does not recommend that you buy, sell, or hold any security. All decisions are your own.

3. Your account

• You may use the App as a guest or create an account using your email address. Authentication is provided through Google Firebase.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscriptions, packs, and payments

• The App offers a free tier with a limited number of analyses per day, and paid plans and/or analysis packs that increase your available usage. The specific limits of each plan are described in the App and may change over time.
• Purchases are processed through the applicable app store (for example, Google Play Billing) and, where used, our subscription-management provider RevenueCat. Your purchase is also subject to the app store's terms.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel a subscription through your app store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Except where required by law or by the app store's policies, payments are non-refundable. Refund requests are handled according to the policies of the app store through which you purchased.
• Analysis packs, where offered, are consumable and do not expire unless stated in the App; they have no cash value and are non-transferable.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation;
• reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code or underlying models, except as permitted by law;
• interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems;
• resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the analyses or the App without our written permission; or
• misrepresent the App's output as personalized financial advice to any third party.

6. Intellectual property

The App, including its name, logo, design, text, and software, is owned by Ethos Algorithmics LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes. The analysis output is provided for your personal use subject to these Terms.

7. Third-party services and data

The App relies on third-party services (including Google Firebase, Anthropic, market-data providers, RevenueCat, and Cloudflare) and on market data that we believe to be reliable but do not guarantee to be accurate, complete, or timely. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.

8. No advice; assumption of risk

The App is a tool for education and self-reflection. It is not investment, financial, legal, or tax advice, and no fiduciary or advisory relationship is created by your use of it. Trading and investing involve substantial risk of loss, and past performance does not guarantee future results. You are solely responsible for your own decisions and for evaluating whether any idea is appropriate for you. See the Financial Disclaimer.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ethos Algorithmics LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the App. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6, 8–11, and 13) will survive.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute not subject to individual arbitration or small-claims resolution, and you consent to their jurisdiction and venue, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the App. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
